NEIL RODRIGUES - Assistant Web Director

	Age: 25 Position: Assistant Web Director Occupation: Software Engineering Student Location: Ontario, Canada Joined Team: May 2003

	Role: The PR and Web departments of the team are responsible for all third party interaction and creating and maintaining all content to be found at TSL. As Assistant Director of PR and Web, Neil shares the responsibilities of all Co-ordination matters on the team as well as creating new and exciting features for the website. Below is a short description of Neil’s duties in this role… As Assistant Director of Public Relations and Web, there is a whole range of duties that Neil does on a daily basis. Being a member of the directive staff means Neil is involved with project planning and team coordination in regards to creative matters and other important desicions. He works with his director, Say, and the Web Team in creating, modifying and maintaining web content, as well as with the PR staff and people outside of TSL to establish good contacts and places where we can promote TSL events, announcements and features. Skills: Neil has recently completed his degree in Software Engineering and has taken a variety of computer-based courses in software development. He has also completed a Professional Certificate in Web Development, which helps him greatly with implementing new features for the site. Other courses such as software project management, business management and applied psychology help him with other aspects of his position. All of these courses have given Neil the fundamental skills needed for such a demanding list of roles on the team. Misc: He started out as PR/Web Assistant and became Assistant Director the same year due to an excellent job, and is currently in the Co-ordination Department with César Bittar and Saydmell Salazar.
