Online Auditions

The TSL online auditions are designed for you, the fans, to have an opportunity at minor roles in the game. There are plenty and if you are chosen, you may be asked to play the roles of more than one character.

Cast List

After listening to over 300 auditions from 87 men & women, we have heard all sorts of auditions ranging from: truly hilarious to truly painful, chipmunk speed to snoozefest speed, and breathtaking performances to AM-radio jockeys!

We would like to thank everyone for taking the time to participate in this process, and rest assured that only the crème-de-la-crème were cast.

We will be contacting each of you individually with instructions on how to proceed with recording your character(s).

Please read these instructions first, then the list of roles and then the technical specifications, before you submit your material.

The following is what we are looking for in your audition:

  • Clear speaking voice
If you have an accent, please be sure that you can be understood by an English-speaking audience. However, we are looking for the following: Italian (male), German (male), Dutch (female) and French (both male and female) accents. If you can speak one or more of them, they can be exaggerated. Please specify in the Additional Information box on the submission form which accent(s) you chose, as well as any other additional info you wish to say about your audition.
  • Be creative
What do we mean by this? If a monologue sounds too dramatic and you don't want to deliver it that way, don't! Sound silly if you like! Come up with different voices. Just play around with it so that you are comfortable with your performance. The audition is yours to turn sinister, dramatic, funny or whatever you like. Remember you may try the same monologue (or all monologues) different times, in different ways and with different voices.
  • Feel free to manipulate
You do not have to stick with only one monologue. If you like part of one monologue but want to play another one as well, no problem. Speak a few lines of one and then speak a few lines of another. Remember, we want to hear how you sound.

Important Note: We need to hear your normal everyday speaking voice, but we also encourage you to come up with voices - anything you wish! This way, we can find the best game character for your voice.

Submission Instructions:

  • Record your voice using any sound recording program (such as GoldWave) at a high or medium quality setting (if it sounds clear to you, it should be fine for us) and save as a .WAV file
  • Save with the filename format: YourName_Character (e.g.: JohnSmith_Male2.wav). You may submit more than one submission for the same character, however each filename must be unique (e.g.: JohnSmith_Male2_File1.wav, JohnSmith_Male2_File2.wav)
  • Convert the file to MP3, WMA or OGG format. If you do not have a converter, try the free dBpowerAMP Music Converter
  • Recommended conversion settings are: Mono, 96kbps, 44100 Hz

NOTE: Please keep the audition submissions 3 minutes or less, and your file cannot be larger than 2 MB.

Above anything else, just have fun! We want you to be a part of this game. That is why we are offering these online auditions. We look forward to hearing your submissions!
