Cuatokomacen will become an actual 3D character in The Silver Lining, and will even get to say a couple lines of dialogue! The TSL Team will be contacting Julian Kantor as needed in order to make this process possible.

Character Contest - Phase Two: Profile
We are having a contest where YOU get to be in TSL! There are three parts to the contest: dressing up as a character, creating the character's profile, and personalizing the character. This month, we will focus on the second stage of the contest: creating the character's profile. The winners from Phase One of this contest must complete character profiles for their character(s)! The top 5 characters will be chosen to move onto the third phase of this contest.

Background/History:
Elara was the daughter of the wisest most powerful witch ever known, but when her mother was slain, she was orphaned and left to teach herself witchcraft. She vowed she would take revenge upon all dishonest, evil men and one day bring down the man who killed her mother. Although she is bitter when it comes to men, underneath she is a woman wanting to be loved by an honest man.... but she's never found one... yet.

What Character Does to Survive:
Cuatokomacen has to eat and drink. That's it. He lives on the streets of the Isle of the Crown.
Why Character Does this:
He has to live on the streets so that he can meet as many people as possible. He feels he must warn everyone he can about the upcoming end of the world... preferably in four different accents. A song or two wouldn't hurt, either.
Background/History:
John Smith was a normal, law-abiding citizen on the Isle of the Crown until one day he tripped on a tree root while listening to a bird’s beautiful song. When he woke up, forgot who he was, where he was, and where he came from. "WAIT A MINUTE," he then thought, "MY FACE IS NAKED!!" Cuatokomacen then covered his face in a mask he found in a wastebasket outside of the pawn shop. He then named himself Cuatokomacen, and convinced himself he was from a certain mysterious land, far away. The trouble was, his idea of where that is always changes, so he changes accents accordingly. Also, the bird's song left a lasting impression on him, so while taking breaks from preaching about the end of the world he learned of while unconcious, Cuatokomacen bursts into rousing renditions of his favorite songs.

His only dislike is being reminded that he's not actually a pirate. (Or if someone corrects him during his pirate lingo).

Tawmis insists on sailing. He loves sailing. His time on the land is limited. And of course, remaining in Pirate character is a must. (Because he knows nothing else!)
Why Character Does this:
Tawmis loved the Pirate stories he always heard. Loved the idea of sailing the seas, discovering land, burying treasure (though due to bad map skills, Tawmis never finds any of the treasure he buried to begin with!)
Background/History:
Tawmis grew up on a ship. His father was a sailor, and he never knew his mother. His father always told him about tales of the days when pirates sailed the waters. So naturally, Tawmis became facinated with Pirates, but never got to meet any, since it seemed they day had come and gone. So now Tawmis remains in Pirate character, just in case there are any kids that want to meet or see pirates, he lives like one to fulfill their dream.

Background/History:
She really has no true memories of her past. Being left alone in the woods at such a tender age she can only remember her encounters with the creatures of the wild. For as long as she can remember her owl friend Arianna has always been there and has helped her gather things for the potions she brews and meals. She lives in a little hut in the woods, barely visible to all but the keenest of observers, for she herself is very hard to spot. Many have seen her though for she is always eager to help a sick or dying lost traveler. But once they have healed it seems only like a dream to them. Her greatest pleasure derives from being out in the wilds and communicating with all the worlds' creatures. A friendly creature full of compassion, she will not stand for injustice. However, she looks out for herself and will not throw herself into a fight she cannot win. Though friendly and willing to help (if it so benefits). She does take great pleasure in meddling in less important human affairs. Free spirited and kind, her true nature can not be really known because she is so distant. Though she knows a small amount of natural magic, which she has gained through self-exploration, she herself is still trying to find out who she truly is.

Weakness is wizards of the Orange cloak and black magic. Lighter magics of the Orange cloak are almost neutralized. Black magic is the weakness to all magicians of the whiter crafts.

What Character Does to Survive:
Sir Bolas must find where his parents are if it is his fate while doing so. It has been many years since his parents were gone, and there is no trace from the stories he's heard of them.
Why Character Does this:
It is the one thing missing in his life, and he has the spirit of adventuring like his parents, therefore needing to be out, free spirited, and searching for what is best. Helping people on the way as always in Kings Quest history of good adventurers.
Background/History:
Youngest Great nephew of Crispin, Sir Bolas of Thiaria lived far among the highest reach in Mount Urius. This mountain was volcanic, yet strangely still the coldest mountain in all of Thiaria. His parents are unknown to him and Bolas has been taken care of by his grandparents since he could remember. One day at the age of 15, Bolas discovered his gift in magic when he started reading an old book he found resting in his grandparents' bookshelf. The book was titled, "Order of the Blue Cloak volume I Introducing magic". He was only able to do small incantations at first. Bolas hid the evidence of spellcraft from his grandparents. Believing that it was the book that gave him the abilities to do magic, Bolas realized his "natural" connection to Magic from manna at 18 when he burned down his cabin out of fury. His Grandfather discovered the book, and then threatened to burn it. From this, a rare energy was triggered from Bolas' hands and shot through the roof. This caused flame and cold wind to burst throughout the cabin causing the house to burn. Bolas stopped, and ran out confused. There was something about the nature of Mount Urius that gave Bolas Natural manna energies that flared during strong emotion. When his Grandparents sat him down the next day, they told him how they weren't his real grandparents, but just friends of his great uncle Crispin. Bolas' ideal Grandparents explained how an evil wizard Manannan would wipe out Bolas' parents, Cyrilus and Sophia, if they did not keep away from adventuring near his lands. Their skill in the magic arts intimidated Manannan and so caused him to have little patience with any outsiders like themselves. Cyrilus and Sophia worried for their young child's health. Cyrilus had told Sophia to talk to their Uncle Crispin for help in what should be done. Crispin had only two people in mind. He said to leave far into the safe mountain of Urius, where sacred light manna shall protect the family. As Sophia took Bolas into the mountains Cyrilus continued adventuring for new crafts and ways to make a living to support his family, and help support the poor elders that were willing to provide safety and shelter for his family. It was over 3 months since word from Cyrilus' whereabouts. Sophia, worried to death of her dear beloved, could not wait another day without finding out where he was. She sent out of Mount Urius to search for him. Carrying all magics and books of magic with her, except the introduction book of magic. Sophia too was never too return from that day on. When Sir Bolas heard this story that very moment, he sighed almost ready to burst into tears, then sucked it all in and said, "I shall set out to search for my parents." Traveling from place to place for 5 years, Sir Bolas is still searching for them...
